Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, particularly within power operations. Your expertise in rotating equipment, electrical safety, and process safety is complemented by your ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. You are proactive in assessing and mitigating risks, fostering a robust safety culture that prioritizes the well-being of all team members.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you are dedicated to developing and implementing safety protocols that align with industry standards. Your experience in large-scale turbine operations equips you with the knowledge to address complex safety challenges in a dynamic environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
What you'll do
As the HSE Specialist at Crusoe, you will partner with the Power Operations Team to identify operational risks and develop actionable plans to address them. You will lead initiatives to cultivate a high level of HSE awareness among team members, ensuring that safety practices are integrated into daily operations. Your role will involve conducting regular safety audits and assessments, providing training and resources to staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for analyzing incident reports and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. By fostering open communication and collaboration, you will help create an environment where safety is prioritized, and team members feel empowered to voice concerns.
