What you'll do

In this role, you will play a critical operational role within Point72’s Macro Technology team. You will be responsible for building out foundational technical components of an extensive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) program across multiple complex systems. Your focus will be on optimizing the operations of existing systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet the demands of critical stakeholders. You will collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure that ongoing changes are consistent with a predetermined set of SLOs, enhancing user interactions with the systems.

Monitoring system capacity and performance will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will identify and address potential future bottlenecks and sources of instability proactively. You will also review and provide feedback on automation code, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the systems. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in the field, ensuring that Point72 remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
