Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud infrastructure and management systems. Your expertise in designing and developing scalable systems has equipped you with the skills to handle complex challenges in cloud environments. You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your strong problem-solving abilities enable you to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

You possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture and are familiar with infrastructure as code practices, particularly using Terraform. Your experience with Python allows you to develop robust automation scripts and tools that improve system reliability. You are also comfortable mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms or services is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools. You have a keen interest in AI technologies and how they can be integrated into cloud solutions, aligning with Crusoe's mission to leverage AI for sustainable technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing the Cloud Availability Platform Engineering (CAPE) systems at Crusoe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end use cases and workflows that support the AI-first Crusoe Cloud. Your contributions will be crucial in planning, monitoring, deploying, and operating the cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets key business revenue metrics.

You will evaluate and implement platforms, tools, and frameworks that focus on reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Your role will involve refining technical designs and architecture, as well as mentoring fellow engineers to enhance team growth and capabilities. You will actively participate in discussions about system performance and reliability, driving initiatives that aim to scale Crusoe Cloud products and services significantly.
