You have 6+ years of backend engineering experience building and scaling systems, with a strong proficiency in Python. You are experienced in architecting, building, and optimizing highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems that process large datasets in real-time. Your expertise includes tackling complex scaling challenges through deep analysis and systematic troubleshooting in high-throughput environments.

You are well-versed in developing microservices-based architectures and have hands-on experience with technologies such as Go, Kubernetes, Docker, and Redis. You understand the importance of writing secure-by-design software and are capable of processing untrusted data while resisting real-world attack vectors. Your experience includes operationalizing AI prototypes and turning experimental models into robust, production-ready services.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and scale distributed systems that handle billions of events in real-time from numerous endpoints. You will solve complex performance and reliability problems, ensuring that systems operate with sub-second latency. Your responsibilities will include developing and evolving a microservices architecture that supports the continuous improvement of production stacks.

You will partner with the Labs team to operationalize and scale AI prototypes across various customers, ensuring that these solutions are robust and scalable. Your work will involve writing hardened, security-first code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of AI systems.

You will also engage in deep analysis and profiling to identify and resolve issues in high-throughput distributed environments. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Cyberhaven's AI initiatives, helping to drive innovation and enhance customer protection.
