Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in AI engineering, with a strong background in designing and deploying production-grade AI systems. You enjoy owning systems end to end, from architecture to deployment, and have a passion for building scalable, low-latency backend services.

Your expertise includes working with machine learning frameworks and tools, and you are comfortable integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications. You have a solid understanding of REST APIs and are skilled in using Elasticsearch for vector search and data retrieval.

You are familiar with AIOps best practices and understand the importance of observability and reliability in AI systems. Your experience with prompt engineering and retrieval tuning allows you to continuously improve AI performance and user experience.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions. You are committed to building responsible AI systems that enhance research and enterprise intelligence.

Desirable

Experience with generative AI capabilities and multi-agent systems is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior AI Engineer at Guidepoint, you will design, build, and operate scalable backend services that power our generative AI capabilities. You will own the full lifecycle of AI applications, from system architecture and development to deployment and ongoing optimization in production.

You will be responsible for building production-grade research agents and enterprise AI workflows that integrate large language models with proprietary knowledge and real-time data. Your role will involve designing multi-agent AI systems and applying AIOps best practices to ensure high reliability and quality controls.

You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of retrieval and generation through prompt engineering and retrieval tuning. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our research enablement products and enterprise intelligence solutions.
