Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies. You are proficient in Java and JavaScript, and have experience with frameworks like React and Node.js. Your understanding of SQL allows you to work effectively with databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product management and design teams to create delightful user experiences. You are customer-obsessed and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, whether it's designing intuitive UI/UX or optimizing backend services for scalability.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with modern development practices like CI/CD and agile methodologies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn new technologies and approaches.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Databricks, you will be responsible for building and enhancing our data and AI infrastructure platform. You will work on various teams, such as SQL Analytics Console, where you will develop features that provide users with a first-class experience for performing Business Intelligence (BI) tasks. You will also contribute to the Jobs and Workflows team, focusing on improving the stability and scalability of our systems to handle increasing customer workloads.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement features that meet customer needs. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth and development.
