Databricks is seeking a Manager of Professional Services to lead the Project Management team for the Central EMEA Region. You'll ensure successful delivery of Data & AI engagements while driving customer satisfaction and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills.

You have a proven track record in project management, particularly in the Data & AI domain, with experience leading teams to deliver complex projects successfully. Your leadership style fosters a high-performance culture, emphasizing customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. You excel in governance and risk management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You are skilled in stakeholder alignment, proactively managing expectations and communications to safeguard delivery quality. You have a strong focus on developing team capabilities through coaching and mentorship, helping your team members grow and succeed in their roles. You understand the importance of financial performance and are adept at managing project budgets and revenue outcomes.
Desirable
Experience in a similar managerial role within the technology sector, particularly in Data & AI projects, would be advantageous. Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and best practices is a plus, as is a background in customer success management. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
What you'll do
As the Manager of Professional Services, you will lead a high-performing team of Technical Project Managers, ensuring they deliver complex data and AI projects with consistency and predictability. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, overseeing all aspects from initiation to closure. Your role will involve developing and enhancing project delivery methodologies, ensuring that your team has the tools and resources needed to execute effectively. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that project outcomes align with their expectations. You will also be responsible for driving excellence in execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across your portfolio of projects. Regularly reviewing project performance and implementing improvements will be key to your success in this role. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery experience for clients, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
