You have a strong background in software engineering with expertise in one or more of the following languages: Scala, Rust, or Python. Your experience includes working with build systems, particularly Bazel, and you understand the intricacies of compilers and version control systems. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Experience team, you will build and maintain the tools and infrastructure that empower Databricks engineers to be highly productive. Your work will directly impact the reliability, speed, and efficiency of the development process, creating a blazing-fast development loop. You will focus on making Bazel easy to use and enhancing the overall developer experience.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to understand their needs and pain points, iterating on solutions that improve their workflows. Your contributions will help shape the future of Databricks' engineering practices, ensuring that the team can scale effectively as the company grows.
