Who you are

You have a strong background in big data technologies and have worked as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role. Your experience includes engaging with clients to understand their big data challenges and providing tailored solutions using platforms like Databricks. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are adept at data engineering and data science, with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and their applications in real-world scenarios. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects. You are committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that clients derive maximum value from their data initiatives.

Desirable

Experience with data integration and migration projects is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning applications and AI technologies will enhance your ability to guide clients through transformational projects. A background in consulting or professional services is beneficial, as it equips you with the skills to manage client expectations and deliver results effectively.

What you'll do

As a Big Data Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will engage with clients on short to medium-term projects, addressing their big data challenges. You will design and build reference architectures that align with client needs, ensuring successful implementation of Databricks solutions. Your role will involve creating how-to guides and productionalizing customer use cases, helping clients understand and adopt the Databricks platform effectively. You will collaborate with engagement managers to scope various professional services work, providing input based on customer requirements. You will guide strategic customers through the implementation of big data projects, including end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading applications. Your expertise will be crucial in consulting on architecture and design, as well as providing escalated support for operational issues. You will work closely with the Databricks technical team, project managers, and customer teams to ensure that all technical components of engagements are delivered to meet customer expectations.
