Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable systems that handle large volumes of data. Your expertise in Java and Apache Spark allows you to design high-performance applications that meet the needs of data teams. You understand the complexities of distributed systems and have a track record of debugging and optimizing backend services.
Your experience with Python and REST APIs enables you to create seamless integrations and enhance user experiences. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, where you can share your knowledge and mentor junior engineers. You are passionate about contributing to open-source projects and driving performance innovations in the data space.
What you'll do
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Databricks, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the backend systems that power our data and AI infrastructure.
