Who you are
You have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or equivalent professional experience. You are experienced in building data processing pipelines and have a strong understanding of big data technologies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and value the relationships built within your team. You have a passion for solving complex problems and are eager to contribute to the growth of the company. You are proficient in programming languages such as Scala, Java, and Python, and have hands-on experience with tools like Apache Spark and Airflow.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Engineer at Datadog, you will build sophisticated high-volume data pipelines that power the Revenue Platforms. You will utilize Spark, Flink, Luigi, and Airflow to create reliable and accurate data processing systems. You will work across the stack, moving fluidly between different programming languages to ensure the success of the data engineering team. You will join a tightly knit team dedicated to solving hard problems the right way and will have the opportunity to own meaningful parts of the processing infrastructure.
