Your technical expertise allows you to engage strategically with complex technical problems and work with your team to produce well-defined and actionable plans. You are comfortable being a core contributor and reviewer of code, leading design decisions, and participating in on-call rotations. You value collaboration and understand the importance of office culture in driving creativity and teamwork.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers, driving their professional growth and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. You will collaborate with Product to shape the strategic roadmap, having a significant impact on the product and the user experience of fellow engineers who use the product. You will engage with complex technical problems, working closely with your team to develop actionable plans that address infrastructure issues. As a core contributor, you will lead design decisions and participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality outputs from your team. You will also be involved in the on-call rotation, providing support and guidance during critical incidents. Your leadership will help expand the product coverage to other infrastructure types, enhancing the overall value of Datadog's offerings.
