Who you are

You have built and led teams of 4+ engineers, focusing on high-scale customer-facing services that are measured on uptime, performance, and correctness. Your experience includes being on-call, leading incident responses, writing post mortems, and driving remediation efforts. You hold a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, which has equipped you with a strong technical foundation.

You understand the importance of collaboration and communication within a team, and you thrive in environments where you can mentor and grow engineers of varying experience levels. Your leadership style emphasizes impact and career development, ensuring that your team members feel supported and challenged.

You are adept at defining and prioritizing long-term goals in collaboration with engineering and product leadership. Your technical direction in architecture decision-making is guided by a commitment to best practices and effective review processes. You lead by example, demonstrating reliability and accountability in handling incidents and on-call responsibilities.

Desirable

Experience with alerting systems or monitoring platforms would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. A background in cloud computing or distributed systems can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do
