What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the evolution of Datadog's Deployment Gates, transforming static rules into AI-driven decision-making processes. You will design and implement progressive deployment automation, starting with conservative AI rules and advancing towards adaptive gates that learn from incidents. Your work will involve connecting code changes to production impacts, enabling autonomous remediation by blocking unsafe deployments and proposing fixes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you develop are reliable and scalable, contributing to the overall success of Datadog's observability platform. You will also engage in problem discovery and UX design, ensuring that the systems you build meet customer needs effectively. Your contributions will directly impact how software is delivered safely to production, enhancing the reliability of cloud applications.
