Who you are

You have a Ph.D. or equivalent research experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and you bring over 5 years of experience delivering computer vision and generative AI models in production. Your expertise is backed by first-author publications or patents in top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, or ICLR. You possess deep expertise in PyTorch and CUDA, and you have hands-on experience with advanced diffusion, transformer, and multimodal text-to-image/video models.

You are skilled in developing and optimizing training and inference pipelines, utilizing techniques such as data parallelism, quantization, and distillation. Your experience includes designing, building, and maintaining training and evaluation workflows using PyTorch 2.x, DataBricks, and SLURM. You are adept at creating human-in-the-loop evaluations, including side-by-side visual comparisons and technical metrics calculations.

What you'll do

As a Senior ML Scientist on the Generative Computer Vision team, you will invent and publish advanced generative AI capabilities that will impact millions of creators globally. You will build innovative features for image and video retouching, effects, quality enhancement, and avatar generation. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship research-driven features at scale. You will also tune and train custom LLM models for the Picsart AI Assistant, working with models like Qwen, LLama, and GLM.
