You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in creating user-centered designs for complex software applications. Your portfolio showcases your ability to design intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive engagement. You are passionate about AI and its potential to transform observability and incident response, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with cross-functional teams.
You possess strong skills in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD, allowing you to create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems that align with user needs and business goals. Your understanding of user research methodologies enables you to gather insights that inform your design decisions, ensuring that the products you create are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
What you'll do
As the Staff Product Designer for AI Observability at Datadog, you will take ownership of the design process from concept to execution. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand how customers use Datadog and what they need to succeed. Your role will involve sketching, prototyping, and testing designs to create innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by AI developers.
You will be responsible for designing tools that help AI developers experiment with, optimize, and evaluate large language models (LLMs) throughout their development lifecycle. This includes creating workflows that enable users to proactively resolve issues with production agents and LLMs, as well as iterating on existing prompts to improve performance and reduce costs. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of AI observability tools, making a significant contribution to the success of Datadog's offerings.
