Overview

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join their design team and contribute to building a SaaS cloud offering from the ground up. You'll work closely with talented engineers to enhance the developer experience. This role requires a passion for open-source software and design.

You have a strong background in product design, ideally with experience in SaaS and open-source environments. You understand the importance of user experience and are driven to create intuitive and impactful designs that enhance the developer experience. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineers and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences for Temporal's cloud offering. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure that your designs are feasible and align with technical constraints. You will conduct user research to gather insights and validate your design decisions, ensuring that the product meets the needs of its users. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas. You will participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the design team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and help them grow in their roles. Your work will directly impact the success of the product and the satisfaction of its users.
