Who you are
You have a strong background in security research, particularly in the realm of Generative AI and large language models (LLMs). With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of identifying vulnerabilities and developing impactful detection content. Your expertise in Python and security engineering allows you to translate complex findings into actionable insights that enhance product security.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside product managers, detection engineers, and software teams to integrate research into Datadog’s platform. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and effectively enables you to share your findings through blog posts, conference talks, and open-source contributions, promoting trust among customers and the broader security community.
You are passionate about staying ahead of the evolving threat landscape, continuously exploring new vulnerabilities and threats in AI technologies. Your proactive approach to research and your commitment to driving improvements in security posture make you a valuable asset to any team.
Desirable
Experience with open-source contributions and a history of presenting at security conferences will set you apart. Familiarity with adversarial techniques and proof-of-concept attacks is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of the security implications of AI technologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead research initiatives aimed at identifying novel vulnerabilities and threats in Generative AI and LLM technologies. You will develop and demonstrate proof-of-concept attacks and adversarial techniques for educational and defensive purposes, translating your findings into actionable detection content and product improvements.
You will collaborate closely with product managers and software teams to ensure that your research is effectively integrated into Datadog’s security platform. Your contributions will not only enhance the security posture of Datadog but also help shape the broader security landscape through publications and vulnerability disclosures.
