Who you are
You have significant experience in data engineering, particularly with cloud technologies and data warehousing solutions such as Kimball, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh. Your expertise in BigQuery and tools like dbt or Dataform allows you to implement scalable data solutions effectively. You are familiar with CI/CD technologies and have hands-on experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and Cloud Build. Your ability to anticipate and resolve complex issues makes you a valuable asset to any team. You hold relevant Google Cloud certifications, such as Cloud Architect Professional or Data Engineer Professional, which demonstrate your commitment to excellence in the field.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the technical roadmap for Datatonic's managed services, ensuring that the tooling strategy is executed effectively to deliver highly automated and scalable data solutions. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical support and insights that enhance client engagement. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting best practices for data engineering, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative but also reliable and efficient. You will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
