Who you are

You are a software engineer with experience in building and maintaining applications using Ruby on Rails and React. You have a solid understanding of PostgreSQL and are comfortable working with cloud-based solutions like AWS. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and improve user experiences.

You have a passion for developing accessible components and are familiar with tools like StoryBook for documentation. Your experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab allows you to deploy and monitor your code effectively. You are adaptable and can contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring a seamless integration of features.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at DebtBook, you will be responsible for enhancing our cloud-based software platform that assists local government and healthcare finance teams. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of our application, ensuring that all components function smoothly together. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold our quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
