You have 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, where you've developed and maintained data transformation scripts that empower data scientists and business users alike. Your expertise in SQL is complemented by your familiarity with data modeling and BI tools, particularly Looker and Snowflake. You understand the importance of clean, well-documented datasets and have a knack for ensuring that data meets downstream requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product engineering teams to surface intuitive datasets that drive business insights.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to identify and resolve data quality issues effectively. Your experience includes advising and reviewing data scientists on data modeling techniques to achieve denormalized and aggregated output datasets. You are passionate about using data to drive decision-making and have a proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions. What you'll do

In your role as a Senior Analytics Engineer at Deliveroo, you will be responsible for providing clean, tested, and well-documented datasets that enable data scientists and business users to make informed decisions. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure that the modeling of source data aligns with downstream requirements, facilitating seamless data integration and analysis. Your work will involve maintaining and developing SQL data transformation scripts that enhance the quality and accessibility of our data.

You will also advise and review the work of data scientists, helping them to achieve optimal data modeling outcomes. By surfacing clean and intuitive datasets in our BI tool, Looker, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
