Who you are
You are an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. You hold an ACA or ACCA qualification and have at least 4 years of post-qualified experience, preferably in a relevant industry or startup environment. You possess dynamic and analytical thinking skills, enabling you to support the business as it scales and grows in complexity. You are comfortable leading a small team and have a solid understanding of IFRS, which allows you to provide technical accounting guidance effectively.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with automation processes that can improve efficiency within finance teams. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys taking on ad hoc projects that contribute to the overall success of the group.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee and review the month-end reporting for your regions, ensuring that all financial controls are operational and documented across the business. You will partner with other financial reporting managers and broader finance teams to ensure that month-end processes are completed on time across the group. You will lead local audits for your regions and contribute to the group audit, as well as any regulatory and tax inspections that may arise. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the preparation of local statistics and ensuring they are filed correctly. You will manage a small team, focusing on performance management, development, and coaching, while also leading certain ad hoc projects that may relate to process improvements.
