You hold an M.S. or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field — your educational background equips you with the knowledge to formulate and prototype mathematical models that serve as the foundation for future products. Your development skills in Python are strong, and you are fluent with SQL and relational database concepts.

You have a solid understanding of mathematical optimization methods, such as mixed-integer linear programming and convex optimization — this expertise allows you to tackle complex computational challenges effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside engineers to integrate models and ensure successful deployment to the Deposco platform.

Desirable

Experience with Java is a plus, as it complements your primary skills in Python. You are enthusiastic about R&D innovation and eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Data Scientist at Deposco, you will be instrumental in formulating and prototyping mathematical models and analyses that will shape future product offerings. You will collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate these models into the Deposco platform, addressing computational challenges and ensuring successful deployment.

Your role will involve working with product owners to design features enabled by data science methods, supporting business development by analyzing how these solutions drive supply chain-enabled growth. You will be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the development of omni-channel software that impacts real value in our customers' businesses.
