You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment, blending technical leadership with people management. With 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, you are comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring high standards in code quality and system performance.

Your expertise includes designing scalable and maintainable systems, and you have hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, particularly AWS. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and Golang, and you understand the intricacies of API design and distributed systems.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design. Your leadership style fosters a culture of innovation and accountability, encouraging team members to excel in their roles.

Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Spanish is a plus, as you will be working in a diverse environment. Your background in payments, fintech, or e-commerce will be advantageous as you navigate the complexities of global commerce.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of fullstack systems, driving architectural decisions that ensure scalability and performance. You will work closely with engineering leadership to build production-ready systems that meet the urgent needs of large retailers and marketplaces.

Your responsibilities will include promoting high standards in code quality and testing, mentoring team members, and overseeing the delivery of projects. You will collaborate with Product and Design teams to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring that the engineering team delivers impactful results.
