DigiCert is hiring a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for US and global employees. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with a comprehensive understanding of payroll processes. You have a strong organizational skill set and are capable of managing multiple pay cycles or pay entities. You stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail allows you to process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, accounting for different payment schedules as required.

You have experience managing timekeeping systems and processing timesheets for non-exempt employees. Your background may include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. You may also hold a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation, which further demonstrates your expertise in the field. Experience with global payroll is a plus, as it allows you to navigate the complexities of payroll across different jurisdictions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for both US and global employees. You will manage multiple pay cycles or pay entities, overseeing payroll taxes for various states. You will process payroll in compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring that employee wages are paid on time and accurately. You will also stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements, adapting processes as necessary to maintain compliance.

Your role will involve managing the timekeeping system and processing timesheets for non-exempt employees, ensuring that all hours worked are accurately recorded and compensated. You will collaborate with other departments to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing excellent customer service to employees regarding their payroll questions. You will also assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits, ensuring that all payroll records are maintained accurately and securely.
