What you'll do

In this role, you will lead Discord's most critical infrastructure initiatives, defining the technical vision and roadmap for the Infrastructure organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that infrastructure capabilities enable product innovation and enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include designing systems that balance reliability and cost-efficiency while managing the delivery of millions of events per second. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding other engineers, helping them grow in their roles and contribute to the team's success.
