You have a strong background in policy development, particularly in the context of advertising and revenue generation. Your experience includes translating complex regulatory requirements into practical policies that support business growth while ensuring user safety. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Trust & Safety, and Product, to create scalable policies that align with company values.
You possess excellent leadership qualities, having managed and mentored teams of policy experts. Your ability to guide individuals with varying levels of experience ensures high-quality policy work and fosters professional growth within your team. You are adept at navigating the intersection of business objectives and user trust, making you a key player in shaping the future of Discord's revenue initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Ads, Revenue & Commerce Policy team, developing and implementing policies that govern Discord's revenue products, including advertising and subscriptions. You will work closely with product teams to ensure that safety is integrated into the design process from the outset. Your responsibilities will include advising on safety risks and helping teams build with user protection in mind.
You will also be responsible for translating industry standards and regulatory requirements into actionable policies that can be easily understood and implemented by various teams. Your role will require you to collaborate with multiple departments, ensuring that all aspects of revenue generation align with user safety and brand integrity.
