What you'll do

In this role, you will shape the company-wide security strategy, leading software engineering projects that enhance the security posture of Discord. You will work on developing and applying security best practices across various teams, ensuring that security is a priority in all engineering efforts. Your responsibilities will include designing and building secure systems, managing identities and access, and shipping code that adheres to security standards. You will also configure cloud infrastructure to support secure operations and monitor services for vulnerabilities. As a technical leader, you will mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
