What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the technical direction of the Design Systems team, focusing on the architecture of the engineering foundations that support frontend primitives. You will work closely with engineers and designers to build and maintain the design system, Mana, which includes design tokens, components, and other code patterns. Your responsibilities will include authoring beautiful, accessible components that function seamlessly across all supported platforms, including iOS, Android, and desktop.

You will collaborate with product feature teams to accelerate their ability to ship new features with a consistent and high-quality UI. Your role will involve setting the standard for accessibility on Discord and supporting other engineering teams in achieving these goals. You will also be responsible for continuously improving the design system over time, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization and its users.
