Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in the payments sector — you've successfully led initiatives that enhance payment processes and improve conversion rates. Your deep understanding of card payments and related technologies allows you to identify high-impact improvements effectively.

You are data-driven and analytical — you leverage metrics and insights to inform product decisions, ensuring that every feature you launch is backed by solid data. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, enables you to drive product innovation successfully.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Your customer-centric approach ensures that you always prioritize the needs of merchants and end-users in your product strategies.

Desirable

Experience with network tokenization and optimizing payment flows is a plus — you understand the intricacies of payment processing and can navigate the challenges that come with it. Familiarity with working alongside card networks and acquirers will enhance your ability to deliver innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead dLocal's Card Payments Optimization strategy, focusing on maximizing approval rates and overall performance of card payment flows. You will collaborate with card networks, acquirers, and merchants to identify and implement high-impact improvements, such as network tokenization and optimizing retry logic.

You will be responsible for launching new features that enhance the payment experience for merchants and their customers. This involves conducting thorough market research and user testing to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the needs of the market.

You will analyze data to track the performance of payment flows, using insights to drive continuous improvement. Your role will also involve coordinating with engineering teams to ensure that new features are implemented effectively and align with the overall product vision.

You will engage in stakeholder management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the product development process. Your ability to synthesize feedback and iterate on product features will be crucial to your success in this role.
