Who you are
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in the payments or fintech industry. You understand the intricacies of payment systems and have a proven track record of leading product initiatives that drive user engagement and satisfaction. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, compliance, and business partners, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform product decisions and strategy. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating complex challenges while maintaining a focus on user experience. You are passionate about innovation and are eager to transform traditional payment processes into modern, efficient solutions.
Desirable
Experience with B2B2C payment systems or similar capabilities is a plus. Familiarity with compliance and legal considerations in the payments space will enhance your ability to lead effectively. You have a knack for identifying opportunities for differentiation in the market and can articulate a clear vision for product evolution. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work seamlessly with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of product initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the evolution of SeatGeek's payments organization, transforming it from a traditional function into a strategic, innovation-oriented team. You will define the vision for the next generation of payments tooling, focusing on capabilities that empower both clients and the fans they serve. You will collaborate closely with compliance, legal, risk, engineering, and business partners to design systems that meet their needs while enhancing the overall customer experience. Your leadership will ensure that coordination with external payments partners is seamless, allowing for the smooth execution of features and reliability in service delivery. You will be responsible for shaping the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that SeatGeek remains competitive in the ticketing industry through superior user experiences. You will also engage in user research and data analysis to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
