You are comfortable using technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages and manage orders. You communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers, especially when it comes to substitution approvals. You prioritize safety and organization in the workplace, adhering to all safety and security standards set by DashMart.
What you'll do
As a DashMart Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to manage inventory effectively. This includes accurately receiving and stocking products, ensuring that all items are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You will monitor product quality and freshness, following HACCP and food-handling processes to prevent spoilage.
You will also be involved in picking, packing, and sorting orders for delivery. Using technology, you will scan packages and stage orders for Dashers, ensuring that customers receive their items promptly and in good condition. Your role will require you to communicate with customers through the app, particularly when substitutions are necessary, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Maintaining a safe working environment is crucial, and you will perform all duties in compliance with DashMart's safety and security standards. You will also complete cleaning and organization tasks as assigned by management, contributing to a tidy and efficient workspace.
