Desirable
Experience in a retail or warehouse setting is a plus, but not required. You are adaptable and willing to learn new technologies, such as smartphone devices for scanning packages and managing orders. A background in food handling or safety protocols would be beneficial, but your enthusiasm and willingness to engage with the team are what truly matter.
What you'll do
As a DashMart Team Member, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You will monitor product quality and freshness, following all HACCP and food-handling processes to ensure proper product rotation. Your role will involve picking, packing, and sorting orders using technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages and stage orders for delivery. You will also communicate with customers through the app regarding any substitution approvals needed, ensuring a delightful customer experience.
Maintaining a safe working environment is crucial, and you will perform all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards. You will complete all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operation.
