Who you are
You are a motivated individual who excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. You understand the importance of inventory management and are committed to ensuring all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You have a keen eye for product quality and freshness, ensuring proper product rotation while adhering to HACCP and food-handling processes. You are a team player who contributes to a positive working environment, embodying the DoorDash value of 'one team, one fight' in all you do.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring that all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You will monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring proper product rotation to maintain high standards. You will utilize technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers. Your role will also involve communicating clearly and pleasantly with customers through the app when substitution approvals are needed. You will maintain a safe working environment by performing all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards, completing all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management.
