You are skilled in fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to innovate and excel in their roles. You have a proven track record of improving system reliability and customer satisfaction through data-driven decision-making. You are passionate about mentoring engineers and helping them grow in their careers, ensuring that your teams are not only productive but also engaged and motivated.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of delivery logistics will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager for DoorDash Drive, you will lead two critical teams focused on enhancing the delivery experience and scaling the Fleets product. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction and ensuring that your teams are aligned with the company's strategic goals. You will work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define success metrics and drive initiatives that improve delivery quality across all services. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems while also championing new product initiatives that unlock untapped market opportunities.
