What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Developer Platform team, you will lead a group of talented engineers focused on building the core platforms and infrastructure that support Headway's mission. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable projects that enhance the developer experience. Your role will involve setting clear goals for your team, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing ongoing feedback to help your engineers develop their skills.

You will also be responsible for driving the technical direction of the team, ensuring that the platforms and tools you build are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. You will collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to prioritize features and improvements, balancing the needs of the business with the technical requirements of your team. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Developer Tooling team.
