Who you are
You have a strong background in finance and strategy, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You excel at modeling future scenarios and solving complex problems, demonstrating your ability to think strategically and analytically. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that projects move smoothly from conception to execution. You are comfortable in fast-paced environments and can adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on key objectives. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders clearly. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying risks and opportunities that can impact business performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the business strategy for DoorDash's Payments Platform and Product division. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new processes and frameworks for investment decision-making, ensuring that the company makes informed and efficient capital allocation choices. You will oversee the financial viability and performance of various initiatives aimed at improving customer adoption and retention. Additionally, you will own the quarterly planning process, working closely with Strategy & Operations counterparts to align on goals and objectives. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you track and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will also support special projects aimed at improving and automating forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team.
