What you'll do

As a Staff Security Engineer at DoorDash, you will lead the charge in threat modeling and designing security services that scale with our operations. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to implement automated security controls and remediation tools, ensuring that security is a seamless part of the development process. Your role will involve defining security standards and guidelines that align with industry best practices, and you will be responsible for operationalizing these standards across various teams.

You will partner with Core Infrastructure, Product Engineering, and other stakeholders to create “paved paths” that enhance security while maintaining developer ergonomics. Your expertise will help shape the security landscape at DoorDash, ensuring that our delivery network remains safe, reliable, and resilient. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of security awareness within the organization.
