Who you are

You have a strong background in security engineering, with experience in implementing and maintaining security controls across multi-cloud environments. Your expertise in vulnerability management ensures that you can identify and mitigate risks effectively, contributing to a robust security posture.

You are proficient in using tools like Docker and Kubernetes to manage security in containerized applications. Your familiarity with AWS and other cloud services allows you to implement security best practices tailored to cloud environments.

Your experience with Linux systems equips you with the skills to manage and configure security controls effectively. You understand the importance of automating security processes and are adept at using scripting languages like Python to enhance security operations.

You are a proactive communicator, collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve security visibility and monitoring. Your ability to define and evangelize security requirements ensures that best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.

What you'll do

As a Security Engineer at Fieldwire, you will implement essential security projects that enhance the security of our applications and infrastructure. You will help maintain a Vulnerability Management program, ensuring that potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.

You will participate in security incident management, evaluating and testing for vulnerabilities across web and mobile applications, as well as cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve providing information and vulnerability notices to the team, leveraging your skills in threat hunting to stay ahead of potential risks.

Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with product and engineering teams to improve security visibility and operational response. Your expertise will guide the hardening of systems and the implementation of security controls on endpoint solutions such as GSuite and SSO.
