You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building high-performance, scalable applications. Your background includes working with event-driven architectures and microservices, and you have a strong understanding of low-latency systems. You are proficient in Java and have experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to a diverse team that values creativity and innovation.
Your expertise extends to working with databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and you understand the intricacies of designing efficient data models. You are familiar with message brokers like Kafka, which you have used to build robust data pipelines and real-time processing systems. You are committed to writing clean, maintainable code and have experience with best practices in software development, including testing and code reviews.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable applications that power DriveWealth's Brokerage-as-a-Service platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure that applications meet performance and reliability standards. Your work will involve building event-driven microservices that handle real-time data processing, enabling seamless trading experiences for clients.
You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. As a senior engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their roles.
