Who you are
You have a strong background in backend engineering with experience in building scalable software that reaches millions of daily users. You excel in collaborating with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs and develop products that meet those needs. Your proficiency in building user-facing software and supporting web and desktop systems is evident in your work. You are capable of handling full-stack projects and delivering minimum viable products efficiently. You have a passion for mentoring and contributing to team culture, participating in interviews, and getting involved in new initiatives. Contributions to open source projects or technical communities are a plus, showcasing your commitment to the engineering community.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable software that enhances the sharing experience across Dropbox's File Sync and Share surfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute both short and long-term roadmaps, balancing business impact, user experience, and technical quality. Your contributions will directly impact the business by simplifying the sender and receiver sharing experience, ultimately driving down churn and growing revenue. You will actively participate in engineering planning, technical design, and execution for multiple sharing initiatives. Your role will also involve supporting fellow engineers through mentorship and collaboration, ensuring a strong team dynamic and culture.
