Your expertise in JavaScript and familiarity with AI/ML applications enable you to architect innovative solutions that enhance customer journeys and conversion rates. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, and Design to define and execute technical strategies that align with business goals. You are also experienced in mentoring engineers at various levels, fostering a culture of learning and growth within your team.

Experience with subscription-based or SaaS business models is a plus, as is familiarity with large-scale systems that serve millions of users. You understand the nuances of monetization flows and have insights into how to optimize pricing and subscription strategies effectively. What you'll do

As a Staff Fullstack Software Engineer on the Growth Monetization team, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable systems that power Dropbox's monetization flows, including checkout, trials, and subscriptions. You will define and drive the technical roadmap for Growth Monetization, ensuring that engineering efforts are aligned with business priorities. Your role will involve architecting AI/ML-powered solutions for conversion optimization and personalized offers, directly impacting revenue growth and customer retention. You will own the end-to-end development process, from ideation through deployment, and will be responsible for measuring the success of your initiatives through data-driven insights.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Design teams to shape the future of Dropbox monetization, ensuring that the technical direction you set is both innovative and effective. Your leadership will guide a team of 15 engineers, where you will mentor and support their professional development while fostering a collaborative and high-impact engineering culture. You will also have substantial exposure to Growth leadership, allowing you to influence key decisions that drive the company's success.
