You have 5+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on building scalable and maintainable applications. Your expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit allows you to create reusable components that enhance user experience across platforms. You are familiar with design systems and understand the importance of consistency in product design. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with designers and cross-platform peers, ensuring that design systems are adopted and utilized effectively.

You have a solid understanding of Objective-C and are comfortable working with additional mobile platforms, including Android. Your experience with performance optimization and UI testing demonstrates your commitment to delivering high-quality applications. You have contributed to open-source projects or design systems, showcasing your ability to work in collaborative environments. Mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional initiatives are also part of your skill set, as you enjoy sharing knowledge and fostering growth within your team.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior iOS Engineer on the Design System Team, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving Dropbox’s DIG design system iOS component library. You will translate Figma designs and tokens into accurate, maintainable UI components that serve as the backbone of our product experience. Your work will involve collaborating with designers and product engineers to ensure that the design system is cohesive and meets the needs of our users.

You will drive long-term architecture decisions, focusing on accessibility and performance standards that support product growth at scale. Your contributions will not only improve the developer experience by enhancing documentation and workflows but also ensure that using the design system is frictionless for engineers across teams. You will gain exposure to senior leadership and have the opportunity to influence design and engineering practices throughout the organization.
