Who you are

You are a motivated Network Engineer with experience in designing and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure across various environments including data centers and cloud platforms. You have a strong interest in network automation and performance optimization, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can work alongside both senior and mid-level engineers.

You possess hands-on experience with tools such as Datadog and Kentik NetFlow, and you are familiar with cloud networking initiatives across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI. Your background includes developing network automation scripts using Ansible and Python, which showcases your ability to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.

You have a keen interest in zero trust security principles, particularly with Zscaler tools, and you understand the importance of performance optimization in network operations. Your strong written communication skills enable you to create clear technical documentation and runbooks, ensuring that your team can effectively manage network operations.

Desirable

Exposure to Aruba wireless technologies, both on-prem and cloud, is a plus. Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes networking will further enhance your contributions to the team. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you are open to exploring innovative solutions in network engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize networks, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will support datacenter and studio office network deployments, upgrades, and retrofits, contributing to the overall efficiency of network operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in day-to-day CorpNet operations, participating in stand-ups, and engaging in vendor calls to address network-related issues.

You will play a key role in Aruba Cloud wireless migrations and ongoing management, ensuring seamless connectivity for users. Additionally, you will support networking initiatives across major cloud platforms, focusing on VPC design, routing, and security optimization. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting with Zscaler projects, including disaster recovery testing and business continuity deployments.

You will develop, test, and maintain network automation scripts, leveraging tools like Ansible and Python to enhance operational efficiency. Your contributions will also include automating datacenter office deployments, which will significantly reduce manual effort and streamline provisioning processes. You will work with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins, to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
