IDT is seeking a Network Engineer to support and manage network infrastructure. You'll work with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls in Minsk. This role requires experience in network design and troubleshooting.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in network engineering with experience in managing and supporting network infrastructure. Your expertise includes working with LAN and WAN technologies, as well as hardware and software components essential for network operations. You are skilled in troubleshooting and diagnostics, ensuring that network systems run smoothly and efficiently.
You possess hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls, allowing you to design, configure, implement, and support all network components effectively. Your ability to analyze and evaluate network tools and systems is complemented by your proactive approach to problem-solving and your commitment to maintaining high standards in network performance.
What you'll do
As a Network Engineer at IDT, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of network solutions that meet the needs of our Global Network Engineering Team. You will provide support in all aspects of network infrastructure, ensuring that both hardware and software components are functioning optimally. Your role will involve managing routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as participating in the day-to-day operations of hosting and corporate environments.
You will conduct product evaluations and assist in research, including beta testing and analysis of network tools, hardware, and software. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the integrity and security of our network systems, and you will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations across all network components.
