Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a management role. Your strong leadership skills enable you to mentor and motivate your team effectively, ensuring they meet performance goals and achieve company targets. You possess exceptional communication skills, allowing you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Services, and Finance. Your business acumen helps you interpret customer financial statements and identify credit risks proactively. You are detail-oriented and have a basic understanding of global transactions tax, which aids in your decision-making processes. You are driven and can work independently, ensuring follow-through with increasing volume.
Desirable
Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Avalara is highly desirable. Proficiency in Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, is essential for analyzing data and managing accounts receivable processes effectively.
What you'll do
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing all accounts receivable processes for both direct customers and distribution partners. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely collections and achieving company targets. You will play a key role in the Order-to-Cash function, collaborating with various departments to resolve escalations and proactively identify credit risks. You will set performance goals for your team and conduct one-on-one meetings to provide feedback and support. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's success and maintaining high standards in accounts receivable management.
