Who you are

You are a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong engineering fundamentals and a deep automation capability. You have a passion for quality in distributed, cloud-based systems and bring at least 5 years of experience in software testing and automation. Your expertise includes proficiency with tools like Git and Jira, and you possess strong analytical and debugging skills that enable you to tackle complex issues effectively. You have a solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, and you are familiar with NoSQL systems such as MongoDB and Cassandra. Additionally, you have experience testing workloads on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including resource setup, debugging, and monitoring.

Desirable

You have a B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent, which has provided you with a strong technical foundation. Your experience in testing complex backup workflows and your ability to collaborate closely with developers make you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the importance of data security and are committed to ensuring the reliability and security of the systems you work on.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design test strategies that enhance the quality and reliability of Druva's data security solutions. You will work closely with developers to improve automation frameworks, ensuring that complex backup workflows are thoroughly tested and validated. Your contributions will span the full lifecycle of feature design, from initial concept through to deployment, and you will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement in the testing process. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions meet the highest standards of quality and security.

You will be involved in developing and executing automated tests, analyzing test results, and providing feedback to the development team. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies, and you will be encouraged to share your insights and best practices with the team. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process.
