Your background includes a strong understanding of development processes and the ability to lead teams effectively. You understand the importance of maintaining production parity in non-production environments and are skilled at creating systems and processes that support high-quality releases.

You are a proactive leader who can identify potential issues before they arise and implement solutions that enhance the stability and reliability of the environments you oversee. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to work closely with development, QA, and release management teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. You are passionate about mentoring and developing your team, helping them to grow in their roles and achieve their professional goals.

Desirable

Experience with trading systems or financial technology is a plus, as is familiarity with various asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, and Equities. You may also have experience in non-traditional strategies such as real estate or venture capital, which would further enhance your understanding of the business context in which you operate.

What you'll do

As the Lower Environments Team Lead, you will take ownership of the stability, reliability, and production parity of non-production environments. You will work closely with development, QA, release management, and production operations teams to ensure these environments match production closely, stay available, and support high-quality releases. Your leadership will be crucial in reducing outages and creating systems and processes that engineers, testers, and stakeholders can trust. You will foster a collaborative culture within your team, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.

You will lead a support team, guiding them through challenges and ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. Your role will involve regular collaboration with other teams to align on goals and share insights that can improve overall performance. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in environment management and ensuring that your team adheres to these standards.
