You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on advertising or consumer-facing products. You understand the intricacies of developing product features through their entire creative cycle, from ideation to analysis and iteration. Your background includes leading product roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. You are data-driven and comfortable making fact-based decisions that align with business goals. You have a passion for education and a desire to create engaging ad formats that enhance user experience while driving monetization. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams to solve complex problems.
Desirable
Experience in the education technology sector or with gamified products would be a plus. Familiarity with A/B testing and user research methodologies can help you optimize product features effectively. You are also open to learning new tools and methodologies that can enhance your product management skills.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and drive advertiser and consumer-facing product features through their entire creative cycle. You will lead the roadmap for innovative ad formats that excite advertisers while building on Duolingoβs tenets of gamification and delightful design. Establishing the product vision will be a key responsibility, ensuring that the ad experiences align with the overall mission of Duolingo. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring your vision to life, iterating based on user feedback and performance metrics. Your role will involve analyzing ad performance and making data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience and maximize monetization potential. You will also be responsible for stakeholder management, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed throughout the product development process.
