You have a strong background in SEO with a focus on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) β your experience includes improving visibility and traffic from large language models like Googleβs AI Overviews and ChatGPT. You understand the intricacies of content optimization, structure, and data signals, ensuring that content is context-rich and authoritative. You have a collaborative spirit, working closely with content, engineering, product, and marketing teams to achieve shared goals. Your analytical skills allow you to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions that enhance SEO strategies. You are passionate about veterinary care and understand the importance of making expert treatment accessible to pet parents.
Desirable
Experience with tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush is a plus, as is familiarity with technical SEO practices. You may also have a background in content marketing or digital marketing, which complements your SEO expertise. A proactive approach to staying updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes is essential.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the GEO strategy for Dutch, focusing on optimizing content and data signals to improve the company's share of voice within LLMs. You will analyze current content performance and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring that all content is technically structured and optimized for search engines. Collaborating with the content team, you will guide the creation of context-rich articles that resonate with pet parents and drive traffic to the platform. You will also work with engineering to ensure that the website's structure supports SEO best practices. Regularly reporting on SEO performance metrics will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to refine strategies based on data insights. You will stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies, adapting your approach to maintain Dutch's competitive edge in the veterinary telemedicine space.
